TIME USE PATTERNS IN CHILDREN WITH AND WITHOUT CHILDHOOD OBESITY

Objective: The aim of the study was to compare daily time use patterns children with and without childhood overweight obesity. Methods: Participants from schools in Udupi district within age group 8–15 years were recruited. These children’s body mass index measured categorize them into obese non-obese group. Information about activity participation then collected parent their using a week-long 24 hr diary. Data pertaining spent on play (active) other activities extracted log diaries gain an understanding for Result: results indicate that, activities, miscellaneous sleep, statistically significant mean difference existed each between two groups having higher values each. However, participants have value regarding sedentary behaviours. Conclusion: findings this showed that obesity differs.
